How do I drain my radiator on a 2005 envoy Denali

If there is not a pit **** on the bottom or side of the radiator by the lower hose you will need to loosen the lower radiator hose and gently work the lower radiator hose off at the radiator and drain it into a drain pan. If not at the lower radiator and if the water pump connection for the hose is easier to work on you can loosen the clamp on the hose there and pull the radiator hose back and drain it from there. Once it is drained push the hose back in place and tighten the hose clamp. Refill the radiator slowly as not to get an air lock in the radiator, also once you think it is filled start the truck and leave the radiator cap off until the thermostat opens and add more antifreeze to top it off. Hope this helps.

I seen to have a pink fluid in my radiator I think its trany fluild how the hell did it get there??

look at the bottom or sides of the radiator. if there are lines running into the tank other than the radiator hoses the transmission cooler is part of the radiator and most likely began leaking into radiator only fix is to replace it

Antifreeze is leaking from around my radiator cap on my 2003 chevy impala and I think it is the cause for my car overheating but my radiator cap is not hot, What could be wrong?

try to replace a new rad. cap-if still leaking & original radiator-then the tanks are wearing down, try putting some stop leak in it momentary-radiator may need to be replaced-not that big of job,you can do yourself-shops will charge $$$$$ hope that helps-good luck!

My 02 chrysler is over heating, my mechanic put a new water pump and time belt in it and it is still over heating, now he thinks it needs a new head gasket, what do you think it could be, and if its the...

if it is the head gasket there will be coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant, I would check to make sure the electric fan is operating, could also be a stuck thermostat or clogged radiator (both of which are MUCH cheaper to check and repair than a head gasket change.

How do I remove the radiator from a 2000 Chrysler

Thats a lot of work to take it out if you dont need to. You will need to get a Radiator Pressure Tester or pay a repair shop to do it for you. When under pressure you will need a good flashlight and a mirror to pinpoint the leak. You can always get it warm, that will increase the pressure somewhat and then look for the leak. Radiators ususally leak at the ends where the tanks attach to the core or the tank can crack.

Need to replace Radiator on a 95 F-350 (7.3 l) turbo diesel,

if the radiator cools properly and engine does not overheat, I would probably change the antifreeze solution but not the radiator, does it leak? test its cooling capability by running the engine until the cooling fans operate. changing the fluids is a good idea, also lube driveline and suspension

alright, so you added transmission fluid because it was low and you didn't spill any into the radiator fluid and it didn't spill over into the radiator at all correct? Well you are right in thinking with the radiator as there is a transmission cooler that is inside the radiator. If this is cracked, or the lines leading from the transmission to the cooler inside the radiator are cracked, the fluid gets into the cooling system. So either you have to fix the crack which May be possible but the easier fix will probably be the replacement of the radiator. You should get this fixed as soon as possible as you don't want the transmission fluid to be low while driving the car. And there really isn't any other place for the fluids to be mixed together so you are totally right in thinking. good luck on the replacement and let me know if you need anything else
