Do you have spark? it's sounding like the crankshaft position sensor might be bad if it don't read it can shut down the fuel pump and sometimes the spark too. if you have the 4.0 engine the sensor is on the drvers side top of the bell housing the plug in is under the intake but the sensor is easiest to remove from underneath

Fuse for fuel pump keeps blowing

Normally fuse blows off if more current passes through it than what it is designed for.

Probably it is worth checking what original fuel pump fuse amps requirements and have the same installed.

Also check the relay if there is a relay set for the fuel pump.

Good luck

My 2002 Expedition Doesnt have fuel pressure. Checked and the fuel pump relay is good but not being activated. Checked inertia switch and nothing. What else could it be?

the relay. Try swapping the fuel pump relay with the wiper relay. These are in the engine compartment relay box. If this doesn't help, please get back to me.

Is there a fuel reset button for the fuel pump on my 1992 Nissan Maxima? If so where is located.

There is no fuel pump reset button on the 1992 Maxima. Check your fuel pump fuse under the dash. If it's not blown, check for current at the fuel pump connections. If you have current at the pump, then you probably have a bad fuel pump.

I'm not getting gas to the engine. The fuel pump is not getting current. New fuel pump relay. There is good spark at the plugs.

I would check to see if the inertia switch has been tripped. Also check the fuse pump fuse. Are you getting current to the fuel pump relay?

1988 ford truck f-150 xlt lariat cant get current to fuel pump

Have you checked the 'inertia switch' which in the event of an accident shuts off the fuel supply to prevent a fire . It's usually located in the cab on pass. side. Some models have one reset button, some 2 which have to be pressed at the same time. If that's not it, here's how the power to the pump SHOULD work, you will have to follow the path to see where it stops. When you turn the key on it turns on the EEC power relay on, this relay then provides power to the PCM (power control module) and the control side of the fuel pump relay. Power for the fuel pump is supplied through a fuse link or high current fuse attached to the starter solenoid (battery side). From the fuse link or high current fuse current flows thru the fuel pump relay and inertia switch to the fuel pump. The fuel pump relay is controlled by the PCM. When the ignition switch is turned on the fuel pump will operate, if the switch is NOT turned to start position, the PCM will shut off the fuel pump off after 1 second. This is to avoid flooding the engine when it is not running, just key on. So check out to see if you have a fuse link or a high current fuse and if they are blown.
