Hello, you can try resetting the ECU. Disconnect the battery, or remove fuse #6 from the fuse box under the hood. Wait a minute before you re-install (or reconnect) it.

Autozone may not have a scanner capable of retrieving these codes. Either way what you need is a diagnostic scanner that can read all the sensor data's. There really is no other way to diagnose this. It should go into the shop.

What the previous owner told you could be correct(that is 33mpg), B16A1 Vtec engine were made for power and fuel efficiency. Your clutch upgrade would not affect your fuel consumption unless you feel anything slipping during acceleration. I say you give your engine a good tune up and compare the milage again.

buy5.gif It's directly on top of the engine, in the center, toward the back. It looks like a rectangle in shape, and has I believe 6 screws around, and one permanent screw in the middle. Just take out the 6 screws, loosen the middle one, and pull it off. Quite easy!
