Did you check the timing belt to see if it broke? It ha a 2.5 and it has belt. Remove timing cover at the front of the engine and have someone crank it while you watch the cam to see if it turns. If it doesn't turn, replace the belt.
for the fan, wire the small fans directly to the positive terminal of the battery. when after driving and finished driving disconnect to save battery. use a spark plug tester, (can be found in walmart) plug at the end of the plug and connect to a nearest ground e.g., valve cover screw or body. if still not working, check fuel pump if it receives electricity or if you hear it run at "ON" position. or try sanding off your distributor. (if it is EFi.) it is a common case of 80's to 90's cars was the distributor.
check to see if u have fuel going to injectors or fire to spark plug if there is no fire coming out of distributor replace pickup coil inside distributor
1. Check fuel pressure to make sure its not the fuel pump Should have a valve on the fuel line to press make sure gas comes out when the key is in the ignition in the on position if there is gas then...
2. check to see if you have spark coming out of your coil. if there is replace distributor cap and roter, should not be more than 20 bucks, then try the ignition module (60sih dollars) then Crank sensor if its a 99 5.9 Liter
After that i am unsure those are the things that usually go wrong, it could also be the spark plug cables, if it just stopped working like mine did randomly i would check the distributor cap and roter then the sensors first though. Cause the chances of 8 sparkplug cables going out at once are slim
Also make sure the roter inside the distributor is turning. As if its not turning that is the issue,...
If you can't hear the fuel pump when you first turn the key to "on", then it's not working. ANd if you have spark, then your problem is gas. Change fuel pump.
removed the dis cap then try to rotate the belt thuse turning belt see if there is any slack when rotor turns if there is slack or even slight hesitation while turning u need a timing chain & gear
There is no test for module in distributor, but they often cause this kind of problem. Also while in there, check the pickup coil wires to make sure they are intact.
the spark from the starter is a loose wiring or short starter, but the main thing is you can crank it,check it, you have a spark at plugs if yes check if your pump is working
thx but we fixed the problem and it wasnt that it was the distributor cap wasnt connecting properly
