Never mind the fancy electronic toy ,take a plug out on either bank and check the colours for signs or running rich or lean first.Wouldnt be the first time a reader isnt reading the software correctly .

Sorry but yes their is a problem their then, and i just dont have access to this type electronic equipment to know how to advise or even know how to start a repair ,the only thing i would be inclined to try is to change the computer with a transponder and a chip from another vehicle that was or is running ok .in case its a computer fault ,sorry but iam an old mechanic and this fancy electronics stuff is beyond my financial capability to afford or even bother with because here in europe nearly all modern cars from 2005/6 use encrypted software as when the OBDII was introduced in 2005 it brought with it the dealer nightmare of a code reader like an american one being used here with people being able to read their own codes ,alarm bells rang in the association of dealers ,quick lobby of europeon parliament cash changes hands especially when the italians or spanish have presidency and hay presto new laws to control the secrecy under a new guise of legislation .Read the OBDII on a europeon car and your lucky if you can read the chassis number as for your emmision test in america i have a Creader with it on and trust me i have yet to find a modern europeon car i can read it on,an old jeep or astro van YES ,cannot even read a modern jeep built for the europeon market or a sebring or voyger ,So as you appreciate i just dont bother with the electronics i just back it to a dealer and stick something on for my time in running around .again i do appologise for not being able to answer your question

on the end of the injector rail is a bleed valve ,looks something like a car tyre valve with a black cap ,remove the black dust cover and push the pin on the end of the valve in to let the air out

2005 expedition 5.4 bank 1 too rich, cylinder 1 misfire, o2 sensor 1 error, I changed o2 sensor, spark plug & coil but engine is still smoking, raw fuel, doesn't seem to be firing on bank 1

un plug the fuel injector and see if the raw fuel smell, goes way, if it does the injector could be stuck open. if this is the case the more you run it the more fuel is getting into the crank case, this can wash the bearings and ruin the engine, check the oil see if you smell fuel if you do, you will have to pull up the injector rail with all the injectors and cycle the key one time, watch that injector to see if it drips fuel after the rest have stopped . if it leaks replace the injector all the injector o rings and change the oil.

Where is bank 1 on a 2001 ford taurus?

If it was the upper o2 this is the one. This does not mean the o2 is bad, check the spark plugs and boots, and fuel pressure. The fuel ratio is not correct on that bank.

I have a 2001 Ford Taurus that shows PO302 and PO171. Can anyboby help me with these codes as my car is running very badly? It is hesitating and running very rough, I would like to solve this problem very...

P0302: Cylinder #2 misfire.
P0171: System too lean, (bank 1)
The first may be a bad spark plug or the wiring to it. If it has been some time since the engine has had a tuneup, change all spark plugs and plug wiring. Check the air cleaner and replace if dirty. If it runs much better, recheck the codes again. If the car has 100k miles or over, it wouldn't hurt to replace the O2 sensors as they do wear out (even though the codes don't show that at this time). Replace the fuel filter as well. Running some injector cleaner through in the fuel will help too. If still having problems, check the system fuel pressure as the pump may be on the verge of failing. Again, the codes don't show this as a problem yet. Good luck.

2005 Ford Taurus SE 3.0L V6 OBD Codes P0171 and P0174

The P0420 code is a Catalytic converter efficiency code check the compression.Swap the #1 injector to a different location to see if the code follows.Test the coilpak. A cracked exhaust manifold is the most likely cause p0171 and 0174 Induction air leaks, vacuum or some kind fuel restriction, weak fuel pump, restricted fuel filter etc.You also could have an exhaust leak near the upstream o2 sensor. If youtake it in they will probably use smoke to find out where the leak is.

04 kia sorento runs poorly

Might be going super simple here but from what you have said have you checked the wiring on your sensors? If you know that one works and you swap it and its not working its very possible the wires farther up are shorted or burned somewhere.
