Error code po601

bad ecm and needs replaced. you can go on ebay and buy one that is already flashed and ready to go .. If you buy one from a store you will have to get it flashed at a dealership which cost a lot to do. Ebay has a great spot to buy from as I have done this and it comes with warranty.. Your ecm is bad and in matter of time it will completely go out and leave you stranded

WHAT DOES THE PO601 CODE MEAN IN THE AUTO REPAIR WORLD PLEASE OR WHERE DO I FIND THE ANSWER FOR THIS CODE PROBLEM? THANK YOU.

Th transmission control module performs a test to check the integrity of the ROM memory allocation. And compares the calculated checksum with the stored checksum if there's a discrepancy it sets the light on. The computer will shut the light off after 6 consecutive drive cycles in which it doesn't detect the problem.

What are the problems PO601 and PO121? how to solve them. thanks

121 is the throttle position sensor(TPS), 601 is control module memory error.(ECM,PCM)
I would replace the tps and erase the codes and go from there. If your getting crappy gas milage thi is because of the tps. It is located on the side of the throotle body. Opposite of the throotle cables. not hard to replace. Let me know

2006 trailblazer i6 engine has the trouble code Po601 does anyone know what it means? .. i think its the P.C.M. but im not sure. thanks

It's a very strange code. It shows up in the generic "all manufacturer" code list as "P0601 Internal Control Module Memory Check Sum Error"
Here's a complete list and you can see the GM specific codes on that site as well.
