Your vehicle doesn't have spark plug wires . Has coil on plug ignition system . Eight individual coils sitting right on top of the spark plugs . An the spark plugs have the tendency to break in the cylinder head . Does your ford have the 5.4 L 3 valve engine . Your best bet is to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop that has the tool to take the broken spark plug out off the cylinder head. 1953 Ford Crestline - Flathead v8 with no compression in 7 cylinders

Don't know about your firing order, but I imagine that 1 cylinder could have its valves closed while all the rest have valves partially open. You need to see if the timing chain is broke and the cam is not turning. That would explain compression in only 1 cylinder.

The rings could have seized beyond the ability to seal with oil. Holes in pistons are another possibility. Valves stuck open could also explain no compression as a flathead may not have enough spring strength to resist rust blocking their return to a closed position.

Please comment on my info.

I cant find spark plugs

I am writing you the method on how to change sparkplugs, you may now have an idea where spark plug is loacted.

The Ford Expedition uses eight spark plugs to accommodateits eight-cylinder engine. Replacing the spark plugs every 75,000 miles is animportant part of overall vehicle maintenance. 1. Disconnectthe negative (black) battery cable from the battery terminal. Remove thewiring harnesses from the spark plug coils. There will be four on each side ofthe engine block, which you can remove by simply pulling them out of the sparkplug coils. 2. Unscrew the 7mm bolt from each of the spark plug coils usinga socket wrench and 7mm socket. 3. Pull each spark plug coil out of the engine block. Pull themout slowly, being careful not to damage or tear the coils. 4. Use a socket wrench and spark plug socket to unscrew eachspark plug from the engine block. Once you remove these, discard them. 5. Place the new spark plugs into the engine block and tightenthem using the socket wrench and spark plug socket. 6. Slide the spark plug coils back into the engine block. 7. Bolt the spark plug coils back into place using a socketwrench and 7mm socket. 8. Reattachthe wiring harnesses to the spark plug coils. 9 . Connect the negative battery cable to the negative batteryterminal.

Where are the spark plugs at

If you look at the motor you will see some wires running down to the side of the motor or on the top side of the motor. There should be six or eight (six or eight cylinder, one wire for each cylinder), these are the sparkplug wires going to the sparkplug. There is a black rubber boot covering the spark plugs so you can't see the plugs but if you pull the cover back with your finger you can see the spark plugs. Don't do this when the motor is hot or running. The black rubber boot keeps water and dirt off the spark plug.

Where are the spark plugs located on a 2000 Mercury grand Marquis?

There are eight COPs (coil-on-plugs) to remove. Using a 7mm or 9/32" socket, remove each bolt securing each COP to the intake manifold on top of the engine. Remove all eight COPs, and the spark plugs are underneath. When replacing the spark plugs, use only the proper Ford/Motorcraft plugs, even if they cost twice as much as the aftermarket ones. You will avoid further headaches this way. Hope this helps.
