Question about 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue

1 Answer

I'm changing the oil on a 3.5 liter, 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue and the old oil won't come out. Before starting, I check the oil level and it was up to where it should be in volumn. I removed the oil cap and the dip stick tninking there might be an air lock. I lower the car and got a tiny bit more out, but I have no where near five quarts drained. Do I turn the car over? Thank you for your consideration. Mike

What's your problem?I have a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue 3.8 that I just changed the oil sending unit and still have the oil light on, any help

possibly the light is coming on due to low oil pressure if you have high miles on the engine usually over 200xxx. try disconnecting the battery for about 15 minutes then reconnect that sometimes will reset warning lights. good luck

I am having a hard time starting my 1999 oldsmobile intrigue and when it starts white smoke is coming out tail pipe and change oil light and engine coolant light os coming on and it overheats after driving...

I am sure this is a head casket problem. If coolant gets into your cylinders, it will cause the white smoke, and also thin the oil if it gets in the base pan. Do not operate this vehicle until it has been checked by a mechanic, or you will ruin the motor
