Hi, you would think it would be that simple. I have had some that we had to remove the whole front axel assembly out which is how Isuzu says to do it. If you can get behind the inboard axle bub and pry out most of the times they will pop out they are held in with C-clips. Good Luck watch your fingers these Isuzu's tend to bite.

How do I remove the spindle axle on a 2001 dodge ram 1500 2wd? And what is the name of it exactly?

The spindle is what holds the front tires on. The axle is what holds the rear tires on. To remove the spindle, you have to remove the brake caliper first the remove the ball joint nuts. hit the spindle were the ball joints go in. The shock will release the ball joints. To remove the axles, you have to remove the differential plate, spin the differential until you see the bolt that locks the center pin in. remove both. push in the axle and remove the C clip. pull the axle out.

How do u remove hubs on a 1992 Isuzu big horn

TO DO WHAT? not even the smallest hint on job or failure.>?
USA?
hubs, the rears have hubs to with disc brake option.rotor hubs.
I guess front hubs?.
guess 2, wheel bearing hubs, and not 4wd axle locking hub units.
doing what?
brakes, wheel bearings, axle damage. 4wd axle bearings what?
the pages are 2wd pages, and 4 wd pages, which is yours?
is this your first time DIY ever. ? or first time 4wd?
guess 3, 4wd, how am I guessing....

names
Acura SLX
Chevrolet Trooper
Isuzu Bighorn
Holden Jackaroo
Holden Monterey
Honda Horizon
HSV Jackaroo
Opel Monterey
Subaru Bighorn
Vauxhall Monterey
wow......
our usa book lists it as trooper only.
so ...

just B or B then A off? if you had b off, you'd see what?, a big nut.
that is locked to spindle shaft.
ill guess? wheel bearings are bad? (just in hub not spindle bearings bad... no matter this is first.)
so you do what. ? here are the steps.

that part"B" must be off first, see the bolts holding it, ?
B = auto locking hubs. or hub axle lockers.
26005769-b5pjo3cin0lhc1b54v4xlnuy-4-0.jpg you can see the caliber must come off, so, do so and tie them up.
  1. "Place the Transfer shift in the 2H position.
  2. Raise and support the front of the vehicle safely on jackstands. (rear tires chocked, and hand brake set hard)
  3. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
  4. Loosen the hub to rotor retainer bolts.
  5. Remove the brake caliper mounting bolts and carefully remove the caliper (along with the brake pads) from the rotor. Do not disconnect the brake line. Secure the caliper out of the way with the flexible line still connected.
  6. Remove the hub nut using hub wrench J-29020-A or equivalent. ( special tool)
  7. Remove the hub cap assembly retainer bolts. Remove the spindle nut, washers, and other components. Remove the hub/rotor, being careful not to drop the outer wheel bearings. As the hub/rotor is pulled forward, the outer wheel bearings will often fall forward.
  8. Once the hub/rotor is removed, remove the retainer bolts securing the rotor and hub together. Inspect the hub and replace if needed."
  9. end removal. install is next... (alldata.com covers this)

There is a grinding or ticking from the transfer case.

find a live hands on mech. for all noise......
finding the sources of noise takes, hands on,
and can be dangerous to find, and to continue driving,.
and this car is not AWD, its really a part time , 4wd, made by ISUZU.
this car is honda. , badged Isuzu.
do not drive in 4wd on dry pavement , only on ice or dirt.
or you will wind up the driveline and damage it. that is the cause of the terrible noise, im sure.
see why here
http://www.fixkick.com/part-time-test.html

now the 2wd.
that is a whole other matter if you didnt already damage parts
in 4wd.
data:
The Honda Passport was a badge engineered version of the Isuzu Rodeo released in 1993

the Rodeo has no center differential, so can not drive
on dry pavement (ice free) safely nor damage free.

How do you remove oil pan on 1993 Isuzu trooper 4x4

you have to make to unbolt the engine mountings, drain the radiator and remove the upper & lower radiator hoses and get the radiator out just to avoid any damage because you are going to lift the engine quite up so you could remove the engine oil pan over the front differential axle. Check whether is there any small pan cover where you can remove to have access into the oil pump and remove it.Would be much easier if you remove the oil pump.

How do i change the front drive axle

Most AWD/4WD front axles are removed by taking off wheel at that corner, disconnecting lower ball joint, removing big axle nut, swing spindle out to get the axle out of the sealed bearing, then pop the axle out of the center section with a prybar(held in with an internal clip that just puts light pressure on the shaft)

I have a 96 chevy 4x4 and my front wheels aren't pulling. i replaced the acuator and still nothing. 4x4 light flashes in 4L and 4H. what could be the problem. is there auto locking hubs on that model...

no there is no auto locking hubs. 96 chevys have a ifs (independent front suspension) this give it more ground clearance but does not have lock out hubs, the cv axles go into the front differential an spin freely until you put it in 4wd, how this works is your transfercase spins the drive shaft that goes into the front differential an while you put it in 4wd it sends power to the actuator to lock the front differential. if your front end isnt pulling you either popped your 1 of your cv axles but if you did this you would know because it makes a very loud thunking noise while you're driving, my guess is you have a short thats not sending power to the actuator. check to see if the wiring harnesses are connected and check if the fuse that operates the 4wd in the cab of the truck is not blown. also actuators for these trucks are horrible they go out alot. also you can try reversing a few feet putting your truck in neutral an then try putting it in 4wd

Where does diff lock display come on dash or button

diff lock displays on dash and is opperated by a dial to the left of the steering column. the center diff lock is operated by a button in the center dash and locks your center differential, making your front and rear driveshafts turn at the same speed. the front and rear differentials lock either your front or rear or both differentials making each wheel on the same axle turn at the same speed. all of these features are for increased traction in off road and wet conditions and situations
