Question about 1998 Volkswagen Jetta
Hi if your talking about service then you need to find out when the timing belt was done last if it has not been done then its due.
other than that you need to check gearbox oil level
change oil and oil filter
change air filter
change spark plugs
change fuel filter
check tyres and tyre pressure
check lights working
check washer bottle fluid level and check its working
take it for a drive on a bumpy road and listen for any knocking noises if any are heard then bottom ball joint needs replacing.
i hope i have given you enough to be getting on with.
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
