We are looking at purchasing a 1999 lincoln continental and the drivers power seat will not move back or forward with the power switch. It work all other ways but back and forward. Any ideas on how to...

stay away from the front drive continental, the seat is the least of the problems on those cars. they have bad air ride suspension systems, and weak transmissions DO NOT BUY IT buy a towncar instead

1999 lincoln continental drivers power seat won't work

Could be any number of items related to the seat
power motor circuit

Start by removing & testing the switches

If modules are involved, then it will be beyond
your ability to diagnose ,without a trouble chart

Check any fuses that apply

If a fuse is blown,replacing it won't
likely fix the issue, only blow again

How much will it coast me to replace my water pump for a 1997 lincoln continetal?

It actually depends on your local market. Different parts of the country charge different rates for labor. The pump itself runs about $50 but labor varies greatly from shop to shop. Shop around for best price and warranty in your local area is best advice I can offer you.

Trying to locate #6 cylinder coil on 1999 lincoln continetal V8.Is there a diagram showing the sequence of cylinders?

there probably is but here is what i know, #1,2,3,4 are on the passengers side starting from the front going to the back of engine...#5,6,7,8 are on the drivers side starting from front to back...so #6 plug is the 2nd plug on the drivers side and the fuel rail may be in the way to access it and the power steering pump bracket may be in the way as well.
