Hi

This can be resolved by banging on the track rail in the front while pushing the seat button back after a good few bangs it will get unjamed . It sounds like the switch is OK, but it's possible the motor or wiring is the problem. One thing you can do is look under the seat and make sure there's nothing jammed under there causing this, or something could have accidentally disconnected the wiring to the motor. Here are some shops I would call if you need a place to look at this:

Let us know if you have something more to ask else please accept the solution.

Power drivers seat will not go back

Either something (like a coin) is jamming the track or at worst the motor is shot. 9 times out of 10 there's something stuck in the track.

What could cause my drivers side power seat to stop moving forward and backward?

sounds like you might have a switch problem if the memory for seat position works ok. If you have a multimeter that checks for continuity then you could start there at the switch but you would also need a wiring diagram for the seats

Driver seat goes backwards, up and down but it won't go forward.

it could be the electrical switch that controls the motor, that is if there are two switches to the seat button which controls the motor.
