Hi, its not only the fastest the only way its coming out. 1. Remove the air filter housing. 2. Remove the cooling fans. 3. Here's where you may save time if there is enough room you can just slide the radiator back towards the engine and slip the condenser up and out. have someone help you so that you dont damage the new one going back in. If you can gain enough room you will need to drain the radiator and remove move it for more access. Good Luck.

Where the evap vent valve solenoid on a 1998 chevy monte carlo

well most evap solenoids are either on the back by fuel tank, by differential, or infront by firewall or wheel fender wells which need a lil dissasembly. probably a vacum leak first check ure gas cap that it actually locks and reset code if comes back either a leak to the solenoid or bad connector corrosion maybe.

Can i use a motor out of a 1994 3.1 chevy beretta for my 1998 3.1 chevy monte carlo

To be honest here i have never seen one as iam in spain but providing that the block is the same then i dont see why not ,you will have to change things like the fuel system and the coil pack and sensor layout but with a bit of jiggery pokery and do not be in a rush to get it finsihed by a set time then i would say yes its totally feasable but be prepared for the odd throw up like a different size flywheel or different alternator bracket and such but with the old car next to your one so you have all the parts then changing the mods over isnt such a daunting task .Must say though that picture of the car looks like remarkable like a opel omega though

I have installed a new accumulator, evaporator, condenser , expansion tube and compressor in my 1999 chevy monte carlo. i put 9 0zs. refrigerant oil between the compresser and the accumulator. i also...

Is the pressure detection switch engaged? It detects pressure in the cooling system. This switch shuts down the clutch to prevent the compressor to run when there's a leak.

Sometimes there's a looking glass on the expansion bottle showing tiny bubles. A large blob of air indicates too much air in the system. Pressure might not be enough to engage the switch when there's too much air left.

My low level coolant light keeps coming in on my 1998 chevy monte carlo. level is good. any suggestions?

evidently there is a leak. I would check the hoses, thermostat housing, drain **** for radiator and the fins on the radiator for fluid leaking. The water pump housing and at the weep hole is another place to check. If it is leaking from the fins they do sell a stop leak. Hope this helps tim

Where is the radiator drain plug on 2004 Monte Carlo

When you do find them half the time they don't work anyhow. Fastest and easiest way to drain and fill is to remove the lower hose at the radiator. Don't do it hot ...coolant comes out fast and you won't be able to get out of the way quick enough to avoid getting scalded..

1998 chevy monte carlo leaking coolant

It's a 99% chance of water pump leak or the housing at the timing chain that the water pump sits on.
Water pumps can and do leak one minute then seal themselves.
A cheap fix most use is go to a 7 lb pressure cap on the rad.
