You can change it in about 2 hours if you are mechanically inclined. The BCM is mounted on the back of the fuse box under the dash on the driver's side. These are the proper steps to replacing it: 1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the under-dash panel (plastic cover panel, metal panel, and metal brace.) You will also need to disconnect the handle for the emergency brake.
3. Remove three large screws holding fuse box in place (two on right and one on left.)
4. Remove the electrical connections at the bottom of the BCM. Try to avoid breaking the plastic retaining clips if possible. To release the clips push in at the tip.
5. Pull the fuse box down a few inches.
6. Remove the screws holding the BCM to the fuse box, two screws on the right and one on the left.
7. Slide the BCM down and out to remove it from the back of the fuse box. Reverse the procedure to put the new BCM in place. If you broke the retaining clips on the connectors you will need to use duct tape to hold them in place or visit a local Dodge dealer and talk to the parts dept on ordering new ones.
Hope this helps!!

HI, the BCM in your Caravan is behind the junction block or what most people referee to as the fuse box under the drivers side dash. Happy motoring

BA falcon ute suspect bcm failure

The BCM (body control module) does not actually control the body, but is a computer responsible for the functions of the body components in the car, like turn on the headlights, do central door locking, electric windows, security sensors, air con etc. The message indicates that the main computer (that gives you messages) cannot see or talk to the BCM, it uses a wired CAN bus protocol similar to ethernet. So you have to check the wiring and connectors between the BCM and other computer modules in the car. Make sure they are not damaged or wet. Disconnect each one and spray it with WD40 then reconnect it fully.

Body control module

You are probably right in suspecting the body computer. There are relays for high, low, and park lamps and those relays are controlled by the body computer depending on input from the headlight and dimmer switches. You might be able to substitute a used computer or wire around it. I'm not sure if another body computer has to be programmed like the engine computer does.

Where is the TPS sensor located,2004 Nissan Titan 5.6 v-8

The 2004 nissan titan is drive by wire, meaning there is no cable to control the gas pedal to throttle.
This system is computer controlled with a motor at throttle body and pedal sensors.

the TPS throttle position sensor is located inside the throttlebody . on most of these the complete throttle body must be replaced as there is no sperate tps sensor it is complete,
i would check and make sure this is the problem . GM started making TPS replacement sensors for there throttle bodies.

I have a 95 Taurus sho that was not running right when I bought it. Since I have replaced crank and cam sensors, o2 sensors, knock sensor, wiring harness checked fuel pressure, checked compression,...

You did not mention the throttle body or the idle air control valve.
The computer controls idle speed by how much air is allowed to enter the intake manifold thru the throttle body.
If the idle air control valve is faulty, or there is a vac leak, or the throttle body is dirty, the computer can not keep the idle speed at the factory setting.

Issue with throttle control on my 2003 Maxima

I discovered that its the throttle body sensor. Its not sensing the postion of the foot pedal. The throttle body has a sensor that is linked to your gas pedal via a cable. The spring that the repair man mentioned could be the issue. The sensor then communicates to the computer the position and then computer then applies fuel, the mass air sensor then will communicate to the computer and the computer will then allow more or less air to fuel ratio. So if your stomping on the gas and there is not any response, then your throttle body sensor is most likely going out.
