It is most likely your fuse or flashers. First check the fusebox for the turn signal fuse. It will be labeled on the box cover or alongside the fuse. Use a continuity checker or meter to check the fuse and don't just eyeball it. If it is good then it is most likely your flasher.

You will need a phillips head screwdriver and unscrew the screw at the upper left of the dash where it almost meets the door. Then remove the 2 bolts at the steering wheel. This is the plastic shroud that covers the lower dash. The flahser is located here and is in a very tight spot so you will have to slowly pull it out.

If you have owners manual, find out what fuse is for turn signals and check it. Probably blown fuse if this just all of a sudden happened.

i am a mechanic. a customer call me that own a 2001 grand cherokee 4.0 liter inline six cylinder. right and left turn signals did not work, hvac blower and a/c light all not working. thank God after getting the wiring diagram for the #20 10amp fuse i found that the park/neutral switch(located on the driver's side of the transmission) wire harness was damaged. after some black elec tape the problem was solved.
