Sounds like your cable is bunching up and you will need to replace the track system. its a complete unit.

My fuel door wont open. is there a bypass switch or something

Is it electric or mechanical?

Some use a cable and latch while others use an electromagnetic mechanism.

If it is electric. It may be easy to find the problem, switch or fuse or at least you could, with a wiring diagram, apply power to the circuit bypassing the switch.

If it is mechanical, the cable may not be getting pulled with the lever and pulling it with a pair of pliars may open it. Be careful not to link the cable when you grip it. If it just needs lubrication at the door or latch, operate the release and have someone pry it open gently when the switch or cable is activated, then lubricate the latch.

Can't roll window down on 83 olds

You will need to remove the door card to expose the workings of the window winding gear as something has either broken, like teeth on a winding gear, or something has fallen off, like a guide wire.
It can be difficult to work out how to remove the card, but it entails removing the winder handle, the door pull handle/arm rest and the door locking button. Best bet is to google or youtube search.

Automatic windows roll down slow

make a solution of dish soap and water, more soap than water, and put in spray bottle and spray edges of glass and the rubber track it goes up and down in...spray heavely and work windows up and down while doing this, the soap lubricates the rubber and glass and when it dries it leaves a film of lubrication to slide on. should take care of the problem, unless you have tired electric motors.

Can i get the window up manually if the motor is off?

UNfortunately, no...if you have electric windows.........the only way to do it, is to remove the door trim, find the wires for the windo motor, disconnect and apply voltage to the terminals....there are only 2....positive on one and negative on the way wiill wind the window UP, swap the wires, and it will wind the window DOWN........

My 97 4 door Honda Accord windows have always been slow to open and close - they drag really bad and now my drivers side window has fallen off the track and will no longer roll up properly. I have tried...

you need to replace window rubber runners to cure this problem.hell of a job......or you could try silicon, with the windows down place a small amount onbottom of runners then wind them up then down several times to spread silicon around try not to get it all over the glass......

Stuck windows

if you hear the motor working, and the cable is fine. the trick is to apply a vinyl safe lubricant on the windows frame. (sides) you may even use a shampoo or a conditioner and keep on gliding it up and down with a little push hope this works. but it is best to dettatch the door sidings and check if the motor is working and the cables are oK

You have a very common problem. The window rubbers get dirty and that slows the operation down, the dirt acts like "brakes" on the glass. What I do is spray 100% silicone spray down each side of the window, and run it up and down several times, then repeat. I have had very good results doing this. There is no need to remove the door panels to perform this lubrication. Nor, is there any need to lube the actual window motor assembly. This should help you out. A FixYa rating for my assistance would be appreciated.
