Hello,

There should be some sort of lever or receset clip you pull up or push in to allow access if you need further help let me know.

Why my trunk want open

What is year--make--model? Does the trunk have a key lock? Will the key work?

If the trunk release is electric, need vehicle info to look up wiring. Some makes and models, the rear seat back will lower. Maybe you can access trunk, that way, or remove the rear seat-back then see if you can access the trunk?

Cables are not hook up to battery someone close trunk now cant get trunk open

Why are your battery cables off? Does the trunk have a key lock? With some makes and models, the rear seat back will fold down, allowing access to the trunk. If not, you may be able to remove rear seat back then see if you can access the trunk.

If the trunk release is electric, have to check wiring circuit and applicable fuse.

What is model year, I'll try to look up trunk release wiring circuit.

Trunk access from back seat

Some vehicles have drop down rear seat, should be a button or pull strap to release. Others do not have the option, and would require removal of the lower seat and seat back by removing bolts.

Interior access to grand am rear Qrtr Panel

you may have to buy an articulating cable ( the kind with the 3 prongs that move in and out to grab things ) to reach in and grab your object. The quarter panel and the inner metal structure aren't designed to come apart. The only other access you might get would be via removal of the back seat. Usually pushing in on the bottom of the lower part of the seat with unhook it and allow you to remove it to access the 2 bolts that hold the upper part of the seat in place. With that removed, you might have a better angle to grab onto it.

You may be able to take out the bottom of the rear seat and then unbolt the bottom half of the top past to get access.

How do I remove the lower rear seat of a 1999 chevy cavalier to open my trunk

Chevy Cavaliers come standard-equipped with fold-down rear seats. Just push the latch and fold the seat back down to access the trunk.

My trunk is stuck shut, how can i get it open? they key will not turn and the latch thing by the front near the gas release will not work either...

If you have rear seats that fold down you can access the latch mechanism from the left side rear seat....if you are flexible. pull the corner of the seat forward to allow your arm to slide in behind. about 14-16" in, feeling up inside the trunk you can feel 3 quarter size holes in the sheet metal. The second hole has the cable release arm. stick your finger up there are pull towards you. this will release the seat allowing it to fold down. Crawl into the trunk. there is a glow in the dark release handle on the inside of the trunk lid to open the trunk.

2005 Ford Taurus Trunk jammed (kid's baseball bag), won't open with key or electronic unlock. Rear seat does not have trunk access. Can I remove seat back.

If it is a bench seat, most lower sections unbolt at the base of the front of the seat (near the foot well) then pull out. Once the lower section is out, the bolts to the upper section will be visable - undo those and the seats should lift up and out.
