Question about 1995 Pontiac Bonneville

Hi i have a problem with my bonneville ots a 95 and some times it will drive great and other time it will hard to start and runs like **** then it will run fine after a while what could be wrong

Is this problem always the same? For instance, if you drive 10 miles, turn off engine and restart after 10 minutes, is it just as bad as first start of the day?

u sure its electrical--may be fuel system--many times the computer dozint recognize a new engine--may need to get it flashed or reprogrammd--dont replace anymore parts save ur $$

95 Camry was running great. Driving down street car bucked once and died. Cranks but will not start.


check your timing belt; it is probably broken; then: re-time the camshaft pulley with the crankshaft pulley (line up the marks on the new belt) and, install a new one

95 Bonneville won't start when hot


Yes I know, but If you hold the accelerator pedal to the floor on a fuel injected car, the Throttle position sensor will tell the computer to enter clear flood mode. Then the computer will shut off the fuel injectors while you have the pedal to the floor. If it is flooded, you should be able to get it started in clear flood.
