Either put a new clamp on or if you have a hole in the hose and have enough room. cut a little of the end off and re connect it

Why is fuel leaking from behind rear driver side wheel?

Paul; You probably have found the leak, which was a repair made by somebody else in the past. Ensure leak, rusted out, or crack is cut out of steel line before making below repair and follow all safety precaution when working around flammable fuels.
To do a cheap repair which is not necessarily the best remove and replace existing hose and clamps. Go get a length, enough (high pressure) rubber fuel hose, (4 gear clamps) to put over hose to double clamp connections on both ends of hose. This repair could last the life of the car easily.

How to repair power steering leak?

You need to first diagnose what is leaking. Most power steering leaks are in the pressure hose but not always. Pressure hoses will have screw on fittings and return hoses will usually just have spring clamps or screw type clamps on the end of the hose. Pressure hose most likely, return hoses 2nd, failing rack and pinion assy 3rd and pressure pump last. If its leaking from the bellows on the end of the rack and pinion the you will need a reman unit. Presure pumps are also remanufactured if thats what you need. hoses are replaced with new hoses or standard return hose for the return line.

Fuel line problem at fuel filter conector, 1994 Buick Century

I know the feeling well when this happens. I to did the same as you and also did the clamp, but found the best way was to yous a crimp tool for fuel lines and its not come off since its like the tool to put brake lines on to the calipers and then you put the rubber hose onto it and using a fuel line clip to hold the rubber in place. has lasted the last 5 years now with no problems.

I know my car needs work and I will be performing all the needs

If the gas filter has been on there a long time, now is a good time to change it and fix that gas leak. Probably leaking at a fitting where the rubber line clamps on. Remove the old filter and check the ends of the rubber line that connect to the filter-the inlet and outlet. Look for cracks or splits in the rubber that can leak. Maybe a hose clamp was too loose and was leaking. Some people tighten the clamps too much, so the clamp cuts into the rubber and can cause leaks. Once you get the new filter on and fitted up, run the engine and watch there for leaks.
Clean oil is the best maintenance you can do for your car. Keep it up.

A gas line is liquing

Hi my name is Tom and I am here to help you.

I am guessing that you have a gas line that is leaking. This is an easy fix. You first need to determine where the leak is coming from. You then need to cut away the damaged line from the good line.

Take the bad section to an auto parts store and ask them what rubber gas line hose would fit this size line.
I would buy about 1 foot.(It you have one leak it is a good bet you will have another. Besides you want to get in good with your parts store). You will also need to buy clamps for the line.

Place one end of the hose on one end of the gas line and one on the other.(place the clamps on before the hose goes on the line). Tighten the clamps and you are home free.

Please let me know if this was helpful to you by rating how helpful I was to you. If I can be of further help, please call or email me.

Is this car not still under warranty? Take it to your Hyundai dealer for repair unless it is out of warranty. In that case replace the upper hose or possible use a different type hose clamp.
