YOUR IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE COULD BE FAULTY.OR YOU HAVE BAD GAS.COULD HAVE SOME WATER IN IT.

My 92 lesabre was randomly stalling as I was driving down the road. It turned out to be a computer chip that controls timing. Then it was having issues that also turned out to be a gas problem. Octane booster helped and I've been using higher octane gas. No problems.

I have a 2001 Pontiac Montana minivan that is misfiring stalling and cutting out. I put in fuel additive thinking it might be the injectors and premium gasoline . Could this be a bad fuel filter?

It could be a timing issue (misfire) but it absolutely could also be either air or fuel filter. If it's starving for fuel, it's the fuel filter. If it's starving for air (too rich), it would also stall out and that could be the air filter. Basically, you need 4 things to make an engine work: compression, air, fuel, and spark.

My car keeps stalling. I had my oil changed, oil filter and fuel filter, put carborater cleaner in the gas tank ...nothing has helped. Any ideas? I haven't had a tune up in 3+ years, could it just

It could need plugs, or something else. Plugs are designed to last 100,000 miles but no guarantee.
Often times stalling is caused by a dirty throttle body or a faulty idle air control valve. I would have a mechanic check the valve and also see if there are any trouble codes stored in the computer.

My 93 cutlass ciera c stalls as if out of gas after about 5 min it starts

Sounds like fuel pump may be going out. Check fuel pressure to see if it is within specifications and steady pressure. Next time car stalls, lightly bang on the fuel tank with a rubber mallet or screwdriver handle about 10 times, then try to restart the car. If fuel pump is going out, this helps "free it up" and the car will start. It will only last a short while though and stall again.

2003 Pontiac Sunfire-spark plugs?

Your battery has nothing to do with this. It sounds like you haven't had anything done in over a year. You most likely need a tune-up, which is normal wear and tear, my guess is the spark plugs and fuel filter need to be changed.
