It shouldn't but with electronics anything can happen. The best thing to do when jumping a car or not is make sure the wires on the negative battery terminal are tight and clean. A bad ground can allow engine starting power hit all kinds of things.

ABS + ESP lights staying on dashboard

wow no year car, now that is a challenge , no?
abs is first.
first- first are brakes.
abs stuck on key on and running full time right?
so check brakes for damage or worn out.
brake fluid level not falling? look yet? look when checking oil every time.
abs can not work on cars with bad brakes, (its not god like)
then check for ABS sensor damage and its wires. under car.
then scan the ABS. got errors, sure you do.
but what? you didnt scan it first.
or read the manual> RTM?
its only 4 bucks to read it.

How do i jumpstart my bmw 330i without damaging the computer box

do it with an other car, or if you can't put a car side to side then take a charged battery and conected to the positive and negative wires that are under the hood.
here is a video that explains very well.

Traction light is on with abs-loss of power

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

You may just have system failure. As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you remove the positive battery connector and let it sit for at least 5mins. before reconnecting it. This will reset the system and can get your vehicle back to it's normal operation.

This thing really happens and reconnecting the positive battery connector serves like a jumpstart to the vehicle's PCM (powertrain control module).

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Can you jump start a 2004 suzuki swift?

Yes, you can jumpstart the Swift. Anytime you jumpstart a car, please be cautious.

Because of the dangers inherent with jump starting a car battery, we highly recommend using jumper cables specifically designed to help eliminate the possibility of an explosion.
CAUTION:
Lead acid batteries generate explosive hydrogen gases. Keep sparks, flames, and lighted cigarettes away from the area.

Cables should only be connected to batteries with the same voltage ratings. That is... both batteries should either be 6-volt or 12 volt batteries. If for any reason acid contacts eyes, skin, or clothing, FLUSH immediately with large amounts of water. In case of eye contact, see a physician immediately.

Note: If the battery is cracked or appears to be leaking fluids... it's time for a new battery. Be careful as the fluid coming out of the vehicles battery can cause damage to you and or your car/truck.
