This requiers a shop press and removing the spindle from the car, remove the c clamp from the back side of the spindle and use the press to push the bearing out of the spindle, and then reverse the steps to put the new bearing in..

Reason for humming noise even after changing wheel bearings of car

Depending on how the noise is affected by your driving, it could be an axle joint or the differential in the transaxle.
If it is coming from the back instead of the front you may still need hub bearings.

How to change wheel bearings on a 96 cavalier

The wheel bearings on your car is contained in a sealed wheel hub. You have to change the whole hub to change the bearing. Remove the wheel, the brake caliper, the rotor. There will be three bolts holding the hub on from the back. You will need to remove these bolts and slide the hub off of the spindle. then grease the spindle slide on your new hub and bolt everything back together.
