The HPOP (high pressure oil pump) is right under the filter housing. There are 2 lines that distribute the oil to the cylinder heads. The o-rings on those fittings go out. Kit is available from Ford or International. You will need a special wrench to get to the fittings though.

Fuel line tool. Can be found at any auto parts store. There are muptiaple sizes, so if you get a single one, make sure it's for your vechile. However, most tools come with all proper sizes. Once you have the tool, you slip it on the line, with the long end, you'll see what i mean, towards the filter. Push in and twist, while doing so pull line and filter away from each other. Line should pop right out. There might be some metal clips on the filter and line to keep them connected as a precaution. Those have to be removed to get the tool in proper area. A little note for you, I've worked in auto shops and I hate chaning the ford fuel filters. They are a pain in the but. Plain and simple. See, dirt can get up in where the tool goes making it harder to get line apart. Do you plan on keeping your vechile for a while? If not, is it worth paying for the tool just for this one use? I'm just saying think it over.

Pass side inside on the fire wall inside by the heater core just below it. There's a black box with white botton on top. Push the white button downword to reset the fuel pump.
For the fuel filter, you'll find it along the inside fram rail in the driver's side. Just follow the fuel lines.
Good luck oh and not sure if the 1988 F250 are the same as the 86, but if they are what i typed out should help. Happy Easter

What model f250 deisel are you referring to
The 7.3 powerstrokes have fuel filter on top of engine. 6 lit engines have filter lower down in fuel line, so it depends which model and which year
The 2008 6.4 dual turbo has a pre-filter / water separator on the underside of the truck - under the driver side floor board. A second / final filter is on the top of the engine near the front. It is near the oil filter housing. Ford says to change the two at the same time. You should also drain out the water separator every month or so. (in particular in the winter when the colder weather can lead to condensation in the tanks / line) It has a lever to pull out and you only need to drain about a tablespoon of fuel get all of the water out.

Testimonial: "thank you but I think I gave the wrong model # it is a 350 but we will check it out."
It is located on the left inside frame rail, under the bed of the truck, about 2-3 ft in front of the leaf spring. It will be silver and resemble a can with a line on each end similar to this -[]-
