Kia picanto drive time ac good cooling traffic stop time not cooling

check that the fan for the condenser is working
with the vehicle moving the air flow will keep the compressor pressure down but when stationary and no air flow the gas pressure will go too high and the high pressure switch will stop the compressor
have it inspected by an accredited ac specialist shop

Ac blows cold air..then will blow vent temp air for 5-10 min...then back to cold air...about every 5-6 days or so. Had ac check...1# coolant added??no leaks per black light??? Air is cold when works.

The system needs to be evacuated with a vacuum pump before it is recharged. Otherwise moisture may be in the system which will displace and contaminate the refrigerant. Get it evacuated, the orfice filter replaced then recharge. Should be fine..

2006 Dodge Ram 1500 with hemi. AC intermittently stops blowing

Sounds like the blower motor or the connection to it is failing.Next time it stops give the area below the glove compartment a good whack,if the blower does anything, change it.

CHECK THE AC AND HEATER CONTROL FUSE.MORE LIKELY FUSE BLOWED BECAUSE AC COMPRESSOR COULD HAVE FAILED IF LOW SIDE IS OVER 100 PSI. THE REED VALVE PLATE IN COMPRESSOR PROBABLY DAMAGED CAUSED COMPRESSOR FAILURE BLOWED THE HVAC CONTROLS FUSE. HAVE AC SHOP CHECK IT OUT.

Condensation under dash when you use the air conditioning

heater core and evaporator drain tube under the dash stopped up. go underneath the vechicle firewall under hood area. go around heater cores coolant hoses some where below that area you should have a drain tube opening, take a shop vac tape small hoses like vacuum line 3/8 inside diameter vacuum out debris in ac drain tube that should help inside leak problem.

if you have poer mirrors and locks on the door he repaired, then he may have inadvertantly pinched a wire during installation, which can cause these things to ground out,as they all are tapped into the same harness. he can remove the dor and check, but 50 bucks @ a good auto electric shop will pinpoint the area thts grounding ot. otherwise you can spend hours searching for that wire that is damaged.

Find a good repair shop. Stop throwing parts at it. Or spend the big bucks for the shop and diagnostic manuals, if you plan on doing your own work

AC & Fan stop working all the sudden

First, check the fuses for the fan, AC and climate control. Could be just that simple. Otherwise, try swapping out relays with the same type by removing one from another device in your power box under the hood. Be sure you use the exact same numbered relay!
