Why is the overdrive light on my2003 ford explorer flashing and my speed slowed to 30mph? Is their an easy fix?

The OD light flashing means there is a transmission problem , could have a DTC- diagnostic trouble code pointing to the problem . You have a parts store near you ? There can check the codes for you , most likely .

Transmission modulator 1996 4wd Ford explorer locstion

I think this is an electronic trans with no modulator. Overdrive is really not a gear but rather torque converter lockup. Torque converter may have completely failed.

My 98 Ford Explorer will not shift into overdrive I change the tranny in it and is still doing the same thing when it goes into for it just keeps goingif I Drive it like that would I blow the engine

actually as long as you don't get about 60 mph driving it in 3rd gear is fine. but this is where a good scanner hooked up to make sure the overdrive button is working would help

Overdrive Off light keeps flashing. Vehicle is a Ford Explorer '96.

If your overdrive off light keeps flashing this indicates an electrical or mechanical fault has occurred with your transmission and a diagnostic code has been stored in your trucks on board computer. The stored codes can be read by diagnostic scanner and will aid in making a diagnosis of the problem that is occurring.

Overdrive light started flashing

the OD light is flashing to let u know a fault has occurred in the transmission electronic controls or that it is slipping plus other issues, go to Kragen or Autozone and ask them to run a trouble code test, it is free, post the code back here for me to look at.

My overdrive light is flashing indicating the overdrive is off

this could mean there is a problem with the transmission, but most times when OD light is flashing it is because the wiring to the OD switch is broken.
is the OD switch on the end of the gear shift lever ?
or does your vehicle have the shifter on console between seats ?
