There is a grinding and clunking noise coming from my left front tire on my 850 volvo (96). I replaced the hub bearing and the brakes and rotores are new too.

Really need more info to help you locate and correct this problem, when does grinding occur? Just when applying brakes? at a certain speed without breaking? Same for Clunking Noise. If I had to go off the info I have I would remove wheel and check to make sure pads are still positioned correctly and check to make sure the caliper bolts and caliper bracket bolts are tight

Hi! The problem will be the constant velocity joint on the driver's side. When its worn it makes a noise on turns specially when putting it back to straight direction. Have it replaced and you'll be good. HOpe this helps and have a good one!

Flashing upside down arrow/ slow acceleration

This is a common problem of Volvo S40. You can try this trick to turn off the flashing arrow light.

1) Turn off Engine
2) Turn key to "On" position (Not start the engine), you will see the panel light will on
3) Step on the break paddle
4) Shift the gear from "P" to "L" 10 times
5) Turn key to " Off" position
6) Now you can start the engine.
7) If doesn't work, you can repeat the procedure.

Hope this tick help
Good luck

'09 Volvo XC90 Clunking sound when turn right and applying brakes

The clunking sound is nothing but the break pads self adjusting.  the same happens to my 05 xc90 v8. First you will hear them only when you turn at slow speed, after a while you will start hearing them at slow speed without turning at all. There is no fix to this issue. you just have to put up with it. I had to deal with mine for 2 years now. sometimes i think this car is one big experiement by volvo...i love this car but i am alway NERVOUS

My BMW 325xi started to brake automatically

It sounds like a malfunctioning caliper. Look through your wheels and see if the rotors are bluing (excessive heating).

Volvo XC70, Grinding Noise

sounds like c/v axles (front drive shafts) they will make a clicking sound normally when turning sharp and accell at the same time at slow speeds / look at the axle boots and look for grease on the inside of the front wheels leaking out the axle boots
