Check your ride height sensors to make sure they are still attached. They are front and rear. They are about 6-9 inches long total. A rod, covered by a rubber accordion style boot, sticks out below a 2" wide by 3 1/2" long by 1" thick black box. The electrical cord comes from the top and winds its way upwards. On the front they lay in the rear of the engine compartment. There are also similar sensors connected to the front end suspension rig that are to the rear of theof the struts. If any of these come loose, your light will come on.

Will i have to remove motor to replace oil pan gasket on a 2001 gmc sonoma 2.2l 5 speed

You may have to loosen the transmission also to get enough room to remove it without taking the motor out. Make sure your pan is not cracked first. Also be careful when lifting the motor as to not damage anything on top of the engine.

I have pulled trans pan on 1996 sunfire but still dont see shift silinoids.where are they hiding?

Most of the shift solenoids are located under the "side" pan of the transmission, not the underside transmission pan. The side pan is difficult to access and might best be handled by someone who has removed this type of cover before.

How do I replace the motor mounts on my 96 thunderbird 3.8L?

Put the car on ramps and set e brake.

Use engine hoist to lift engine weight off of car.

Remove mount to engine bolts, remove mount nut.

Lift engine just enough to remove mounts and install new.

Watch exhaust, fuel lines and transmission mount while lifting. They may have to be loosened or moved.

Replace motor mount

There are 4 of them, 1 on the bottom, one on the top, and one on each side. If one is shot you most likely want to replace all of them. Put the car on jacks remove both front wheels and make sure the motor is stabilized, even slightly lifted, with a floor jack and some pieces of wood. You do not want the motor moving around in relationship to the car when you take the mounts off. Remove the battery and its tray and the inspection/service panels behind each front wheel. All the mounts are now exposed, make sure you tighten but not over much when you put the new ones in. You will have to lift the engine slightly when you do the one on the bottom.
