Cant find reset swtich for fuel pump

There is a very good reason why you cannot find it. 2001 Pontiac Aztek is not equipped with a "reset switch" for the fuel pump.
If your fuel pump is not working, you need to diagnose your fuel pump circuits in accordance with the procedures in the shop manual.
This includes using a scan tool that can access the computer not only to retrieve fault codes, but also to command the fuel pump relay on and off so the relay circuits can be checked.

My 2001 pontiac aztek ran out of gas now it won't start

The fuel pump is located in the tank. It;s cooled by the fuel around it. Occasionally when the vehicle runs out of fuel it causes the pump to overheat and seize. More than half of my experience I've gotten them going again by turning on the key and tapping (relative term) on the tank with a rubber mallet. Listen to the tank for a slight whine. If I've helped, please rate my assistance. Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Locate the fuel filter for 2001 pontiac aztec

Its in the tank. The factory's new theory. The filter is before the fuel pump and doesn't need to be changed. Stupid if you ask me.
