Its actually not that hard to do the only thing if you have the base model with no fog lights you need to buy the mounting bracket. And if its anything like the equinox you need to do some cutting and trimming of the front clip to get the mounting brackets in. Its really not that hard to do it takes 45 minutes to 2 hours to complete. The fog lights that are factory gmc acadia run about 109.99 and the entire kits msrp is 399$ not including installation dollar shipping (called a dealer for the price). So if thats worth it for you go ahead and do it. I dont know exactly how it would effect a warranty by modifying the vehicle yourself so id say if you do it id get it done by a dealership.
if you need further assistance please let me know and i will be glad to assist you further. Thanks and have a great day.

What options do I have to fix my A/C problem in my 2010 GMC Acadia SLT?

Automatic or manual HVAC ?
Air Distribution
The HVAC control module controls the distribution of air by the use of a mode actuator. The modes that may be selected are:
• Defrost
• Defog
• Panel
• BI-Level
• Floor
The mode actuator is connected to the mode door by a cam type linkage system. Depending on the position of the door, air is directed through the HVAC module and distributed through various ducts leading to the outlets in the dash. If the HVAC control module detects a fault with the mode door the HVAC control module will try to drive the actuator for a predetermined amount of time, to defrost, which is the defaulted position for the mode door actuator. When the mode switch is placed in the defrost or defog positions the A/C is commanded on and the recirculation door is moved to the outside air position to help reduce window fogging. A/C is available in all modes and recirculation is only available in the panel and bi-level modes.

On the automatic HVAC the whole dash does not need to be removed !
Caution: In order to avoid actuator damage, DO NOT apply power to the actuator when it is not installed in the HVAC module.
Preliminary Procedures
Remove the instrument panel insulator - right side. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side.
Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
1
Mode Actuator Screw (Qty: 3)
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)
2
Mode Actuator
Procedure
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Re-calibrate the right temperature actuator. Refer to Actuator Recalibration.
The dash doesn't need to be removed for manual HVAC either ! Take out the glove box an the insulator panel ! Do you know what the insulator panel is ? There could be a video on youtube ! This repair would only take a half hour at most .

2010 routan fog lights activation

Is it factory installed already?? Not sure what you mean here. There is no activation except to turn on the low beams of the headlights and then turn on the fogs. The fogs will only work when thelow beams are on.

I30 fog lights

No it will not have the connectors to the lights, but it will have a connector where the fog light sub harness would connect. You should be able to buy the entire kit at the dealer, it will come with fitting instructions and wiring diagrams.

I just bought a 2009 dodge ram without fog lights i bought a bumper with fog light an switch them out but i need to know how to connect the lights to the factory switch inside what do i need to do

If your PU didn't come with factory installed fog lights then you will need to replace your headlight switch with a fog light enabled headlight switch.

Here is a link to the factory dealer-installed instructions.....

http://www.mopardodge.com/accessories/Instructions/82208102AC_IFU.pdf

You only need to get the components you don't already have. The headlight switch that is fog enabled will pull out for fog light operation, if yous doesn't you need to replace the switch and do some wiring as shown in the pdf file linked above.

Hope this helps!
