Question about 1988 Volvo 740
There are two pins you need to tap through the caliper..use a small round punch and make sure you look at the caliper from the top to see how to put the spring clips back in...the pins are most likely all rusty clean off the rust with a wire brush

they often rust in place, try hittig them with a hammer around the bolt holes to free them. if they are loose but still don't come off the emergency brake will need adjustment inside the vehicle.
