Question about 2006 GMC Sierra

I have a 2006 GMC sirrea 1500 pickup for about three weeks my air condiction it come then when it gey it turn off is it the blower motor?

If you do not hear the blower motor blowing it is possible. If it moves air but isn't cold the it would be in the compressor but if it doesn't move air at all id be inclined to say that yes it is the blower motor.

I need to pull the fuse for the blower motor on a 1997 GMC 1500 Pickup

The "A/C" Fuse, a 25A fuse, controls the A/C and Blower Relays. Pulling this will remove power to the blower motor.

The heater blower motor has gone out on my 1991 gmc 1500 pickup. what is the easiest way to remove it or do you know where i can get a diagram?

  • Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  • Disconnect the blower motor lead connector from the wiring harness connector.
  • Remove the blower motor cooling tube from the blower motor.
  • Remove the four retaining screws.
  • Turn the motor and the wheel assembly slightly to the right so that the bottom edge of the mounting plate follows the contour of the wheel well splash panel.
  • Lift up on the blower and remove it from the blower housing.
  • Installation the new blower motor by reversing the removal steps.
  • Connect the negative battery cable.

    A/C not blowing thru vents just defroster and floor

    It is a vent door actuator motor on top of the blower box,the dash has to be removed and set in the seats to replace the actuator motor.Cost for the part is about 50.00 dollars

    2004 gmc sierra 1500 blower motor location

    The blower motor is on the passengers side under the dash.You might have to remove the a lower panel.This is the insulator panel.If the blower works at all just turn it on and follow the noise.Hope this helps.Good luck.

    I have a 2006 GMC Sierra with the electric dual climate controll and the fan motor stoped working this morning. I have power going all the way to the blower motor and the blower motor works when I put 12...

    very common, ive done many. replace the blower motor resistor module, located next to blower motor and also plugs into blower, follow the wire from blower to resistor, heres apicture to help, napa auto parts sells this part,its about $50.00.hope this is helpful.ddd256e.jpg

    Rear a/c remaining on when engine is off

    999999995.gif Service VME - HVAC Blower Continues To Run with Key Off SERVICE VME Some 2003 Full-Size Pickup / Utility A/C blower motor continues to run even when the key is removed from the ignition. The root cause is an internal failure within Linear Power Module ( LPM ) or also known as the Blower Motor Control Processor. The service fix is to replace the LPM (P/N 52495874).
