I just purchased a 2005 cadilllac srx v8 n i cannot get the third row seat tto function? Help?

Rear Seat Switches
There are three push button switches that are used to operate the power folding seat; front stow switch, rear stow switch, and recline switch. The front stow switch is located in the right rear quarter trim panel just behind the second row seat. The rear stow and recline switches are located in the right rear trim panel just inside the liftgate. Battery positive voltage is supplied at all times to all three switches from the FFS SW Fuse located in the left rear fuse block. The folding seat will operate only in a supervised mode, i.e. press and hold the selected switch button through the entire cycle of operation, or release the switch when the desired seat position is reached. When any folding seat switch is pressed, it sends a 12 volt signal through the switch signal circuit to the RSM. The RSM then commands the appropriate seat motors to move in response to the switch signal.
Rear Seat Module and Power and Ground
The rear seat module controls the position of the third row seat. When commanded it moves the seat from the seated position to the stowed position, or, from the stowed position to the seated position. With the seat in the seated position, the RSM can also move the angle of the seat back forward or rearward.
Battery positive voltage is supplied at all times to the module through the battery positive voltage circuit and the FFSM fuse located in the left rear fuse block. This voltage is used to power up the RSM and also to apply power to the seat motors when commanded. The RSM is grounded through the module ground circuit and G401.
The first place to start would be check the fuse's .Do you know where the left rear fuse block is located ? Fuse Block - Left Rear
In the passenger compartment, near the left side of the rear seat under the carpet
If the fuse is good next thing to do would be ,have check for DTC'S in the rear seat module ! This has nothing to do with check engine light or OBD 2 diagnostic trouble codes an a code reader for said OBD2 codes will not work . Would need a factory scan tool to check these codes.
DTC B1395
Battery positive voltage is supplied at all times to the rear seat load floor switch and the rear seat position switch by the rear seat module (RSM). The RSM monitors these battery positive voltage supply circuits for the protection of internal circuitry of the module.
DTC B1395 Device Voltage Reference Output 1 Circuit
DTC B1420 Device Voltage
Battery positive voltage is supplied at all times to the seat adjuster switch and the memory seat module (MSM) through the same circuit. The MSM uses this battery voltage input to determine if battery positive voltage is applied to the seat adjuster switch.

The drivers seat won't move and the heated seats won't work on both sides. Where is the fuse?

Check underneath the seat for an inline fuse. It is a glass type fuse in a fuse holder that you have to push and twist to get out.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to get to air conditioner relay fuse in the dashboard on a gmc envoy 2003

There are no fuses in the dashboard, all fuses are in two fuse panels, one in the engine compartment (above left front wheel well) and the other under the left rear seat.
The AC Relay and fuse are located in the front fuse panel, Relay #44 and fuse # 30.

Where is the ecu fuse on a 2003 cadillac deville located?

There are two fuse blocks on a 2003 Deville, there is one located under the hood in the engine compartment on the left side (left as your looking at the car) right in front of your overfill tank for your radiator/coolant, but I think the fuse your looking for is located in the secondary block which is UNDER the back seat (along with the battery).

Push the seat in from the front toward the back firmly, but gently, then carefully lift the entire back seat up - there is a wiring harness conector that you will ned to disconnect while you have the seat up (thus why you dont want to just push in and yank up the seat ). Remove the botom back seat from the car. I tried to 'paste' a diagram in the solution for you, I havent had much luck with 'copy & paste' in this but I'll give it a try. If you need/want a diagram for the front fuse block let me know.

Can I ask what problem/fuse your chasing down, as it may not be listed as 'ECU' and may be listed as something else.

Good Luck

Paul

The driver seat heater just quit. all fuses are good. how do you tell if the relay is good?

Swap it with a relay you know to be good and see if it works again, pick a relay that is not important to the function of your car.

That is the power distribution center, the fuse box is under the dash to the left of the steering column under a cover, they are marked, the plastic cover will have FUSES molded into it.
