Hello We are a restoration business in Western Australia. We have in our workshop at the moment a Dodge Ram (Big horn edition) 2000(ish) with a 350 Cummins diesel. It is having a left hand drive conversion and the idler arm needs repairing. It is a one off component that was originally incorrectly made. Our engineering shop intend to correct it, however we need to know the angle of taper on the steering tie rod ends. Can you help?? Regards Sue

Hello, I have a 2006 Dodge Ram big horn edition. It has had a low gurgle/rattle low down in the engine. Truck overheated this weekend. Have replaced the thermostat. Truck still wants to overheat and sound...

Gurgling could mean the coolant is overheating and has air in the system. The rattling usually means something is loose, could be a loose connecting rod, or bearing cap, could also be a loose bracket or motor mount, to be on the safe side, do a compression check to make sure all compressions are good and within limits.

2008 4x4 dodge ram big horn edition. front end rattle on driver's side when driving over bumps/cracks in the road, more apparent when driving slower speeds

Maybe try to spray some lithium grease from a can on all of the pivot points for the lower control arms and the shock mounts and spring mounts, etc., that could be making this noise.

If that doesn't solve the problem, maybe have the truck aligned to see if there is a loose part in the front that may be causing this rattle.

Good luck in repairing this problem.
