Take out number one spark plug, (all will make this easier, The front one near the radiator) turn the engine over by using a socket wrench on the crank shaft pulley bolt, clockwise as you face the engine front. With some help, as the number one piston starts to move up, put your finger in the number one plug hole and when air pushes on your finger (This is top dead center) align the crank pulley mark with the "zero" (Number one piston should be all of the way up) If you don't feel air, turn the crank all around once more.
Once this is done, remove the distributor cap and make sure the rotor is pointing at the number one spark plug wire. If not, the distributor is in wrong.

Miss Firing

You might have a small leak in your vacuum system, check all of the hoses and plugged vacuum connections. Check your plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor. Sometimes a crack in the distributor cap will cause carbon to build up. Since carbon is an electrical conductor it might be jumping from one cylinder to another that is not in line with the firing order.

that could be the problem, but as long as its going to the dealer to fix that have them put an ignition switch in too. there has been alot of people having the same problem such as yours, and i know alot of times that switch is the problem.
