I have a 2002 ford excursion that had been stolen and parts were striped off of it. They found other parts to go back on but some of the funtions do not work. The cruise does not work, the 4x4 does not engage, and the interior lights do not work as they should. If I could get a wiring diagram I should be able to track down where the problem is without spending a small fortune on the simple things. The truck does not a factory manual in it and I can not find one at the junk yard.

You will have to loosen the striker and slide back, move back in small amounts until door is tight. also make sure its not something inside the door rattling before adjusting the striker.
It sounds like it is a problem in the front suspension. It could be the upper/lower ball joints, tie-rod end, or a sway-bar link. These are parts that wear out quickly on this heavy vehicle. The sway-bar link is a part that was recalled by Ford Motor Co., have that replaced by your nearest Ford dealership for free. You can check the suspension yourself or go to a car repair facility that offers free estimates, maybe you could get more than one opinion, and go from there.
