Check the MODE switch that is inside the control unit you switch from heat to AC. If that is fine the blend door actuator is at fault

I have a Jeep Liberty and the heater only blows like warm air. I have replaced the thermostat and flushed the heater core and still no change. What could be wrong?

Blend door may be sticking thus mixing too much cold air with the hot. Bad blend door actuator, vacuum leak or blend door seal is bad.

My heat works only on passenger side and is not very hot at all. But the other day the vent on drivers side near the window worked just for that day...sometimes the heat on passengers side is extreme

I would talk to a dealer or two.
You could have a damaged heater box or blend door. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.
There was a recall for some blend doors on some Jeep models.
You may have to contact factory customer service to get it fixed.

How do i fix the heater in my 2001 jeep grand cherokee

If the heater hoses are hot, the problem may be a faulty blend door under the dash. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

Heater blower is working but only blows cold air 2001 Grand Cherokee Jeep Limited 3.1d

Either your heater core is plugged up or your line to the core is restricted. Do a complete reverse rad flush with a radiator cleaning solution and try it. If that doesn't work you'll need a new heater core.

Hi There I have1994 jeep Grand Cher. cold air on heater, but hot cooland going thro core. The vacum sounds ok switching all directions : windchil , flor, mix up and down. but maybe the vacum is a bit to...

Hi, the blend door is not vacuum operated; however the veater water control valve is. Check to make sure the heater control valve (see pic below) is opening (vacuum motor should turn valve lever). If that's good, check the adjustment of the blend door cable. Make sure the door opens fully when the temp is set to hot. Please let me know if you have questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

No hot air control

Probably broken blend doors if everything else is working, but its just blowing cold air. Do a google search for "Jeep Blend Doors" or "Heater treater" for more info.

01 jeep grand cherokee heater works on driver side blows cold on passenger side

You have 2 posibilities.there are 2 motors on the heater box that run the blend doors for each side. That side motor may be bad or worst case the blend door arm that connects to the motor is broken. If it is broken the whole dash has to be removed so the heater box can be taken out to replace the blend doors.Big job,do a heater core while your there if you fix it so you dont have to do it again.
