Do not think one exists i work as a mechanic in a very well supplied shop when it comes to technology we have all data programs snap on shop key systems you name it and we are talking serious money and we still don,t get diagrams some skeechy drawings about it it tells you certain components necessary for removal and installation but on a grand cherokee it takes a good mechanic in a shop enviroment all day to replace the heater core i personally like room to move around so i remove front seats center console the steering column and steering wheel all have to come out or disconnected enought to lay down on floorboard passenger side air bag has to be removed a/c system has to be evacuated of all freon cooling system/radiator drained then comes what seems like a hundred well hidden screws all under trim panels on dash shell that has to be removed at this point remove entire dash shell assembly you will see the heat/ac box on fire wall it has to be removed once out of vehicle the two halves has to be unbolted and remove heater core i could type another couple of pages most likely so if your not up to all of this you would most likely benefit by letting a reputable repair shop tackle this good luck and hope this helps some

Flush heater core on 2000 grand cherokee

If it's clogged it can be cleared with the use of Garden hose pump. The water has to be turn into the heater hose line and then water has to be removed out via the pump.

Heater blower is working but only blows cold air 2001 Grand Cherokee Jeep Limited 3.1d

Either your heater core is plugged up or your line to the core is restricted. Do a complete reverse rad flush with a radiator cleaning solution and try it. If that doesn't work you'll need a new heater core.

Plenty of air but no heat one side of dash use to blow hot air. Now neither side blows hot air. 2000 jeep grand cherokee coolant is fine driver side seat heater doesn"t work air bag light comes on every...

Check to see that the blend door linkage is hooked up. Doubtful it is heater core, as you had heat to one side and not the other. Check coolant control valve linkage, verify it is moving the coolant valve from off to on when you switch temperature from cold to hot. Verify you have coolant flow to the heater core by feeling the heater hoses where they enter the firewall. If all checks out well, then look at hvac controls individually.

2000 jeep grand cherokee v8/heater core

Yes it's the heater core, It's a complicated diy job and unless you are an experienced mechanic you are going to need a good workshop manual for the job.

Best of luck.
