Question about 1993 Cadillac DeVille
The instrument cluster is centered above the steering column in the

This sounds like a lot, but its pretty easy once you know how. You have to remove the top pad of the dashboard. There are screws behind each A/C vent, and three screws along the defroster vent.
Fig. Pry and squeeze the A/C vent to extract it from the dash
Fig. Removing the vent exposes the screw
Do NOT try to remove the speaker grilles, as they are only removable from underneath. Just unplug the speakers and the electrical connectors before trying to remove the trim pad
Fig.: Don't forget to disconnect the small cable for the PRNDL indicator
The dash just lifts off at this point.

There is a screw on the steering column bowl that needs to be removed for the shift indicator. After that, there are two connectors, and three (I think) screws actually holding the cluster in.

Now in the back side you will can see the bulbs. While you have it out, you might consider upgrading to a digital dash. As you will notice when you take it out, there is no speedometer cable, its all electronic so the conversion is actually pretty easy.
Hope this help to solve it.

This is an involved project but it is likely a simple bulb that is out. I know this is going to sound wierd, but tap on the unit with the lights on and see if it lights up. If not, replace the bulb, if it does light up, I personally would live with it. Either way email me at firstname.lastname@example.org so I can send you repair diagrams as I can not send them through this forum.
