Question about 2000 Chevrolet Tracker
hopefully you will not have to go thru what i did costed me 1400 to get fixed and didnt need it
first check the ignition control modulator that sits right beneath the coil pac supposed to have electrical grease on it or it will burn up.
Next find and replace if necessary the ignition fuse mine was good but check any way
now the hard ones is the crankshaft sensor and the camshaft sensor both mine were bad .
Next have the ignition checked with a computer if at all possiable there is a anti theft device on it that can go out mine did.
And lastly is the ecu or computer mine went bad because the original mechanic had the key on and disconnected the battery and then reattached the battery and it wiped the computer out ok
I really hope this helps and you dont have to go thru the mioney i had too
Best regards mike
