The stock radio doesn't have enough power output to hook directly to a sub woofer, u will need to buy a special amplifier for the sub, here is a company that can help u with this and tell you what u will need, with add on's u can use the stock radio with separate amp.
contact
www.crutchfield.com

The factory radio system does not push enough watts for sub so you will have to have an amp with line level inputs you simply run speaker wire from factory unit into inputs on amp out of amp to subwoofer

There are usually no extra jacks on the stock radio, but you can use the signal from the rear speakers to drive a subwoofer. Use patchcables from the rear speakers to the subwoofer. The subwoofer should have a crossover/filter to take out the high and midrange. This is true even with an aftermarket radio. Where these have extra jacks in the back, they produce the complete audio signal.

Forgot to mention, you may need a remote volume control if you do it this way. I see the emissionwiz mentions an amp. Of course you will need an amp, as there are few radios that provide enough power for a subwoofer. You can buy a subwoofer box with the amp built in. You then have to run power to the subwoofer, but this is how the pros do it anyway.

www.crutchfield.com has a "what fits" section, it will allow you to pick a new head unit that will fit the stock size of your SUV. As for as Amps, a Bass tube or Subs, they will help you too. They sell you have any thing you will need. Remember, this tip, grounding cables need to be drilled or bolted to a non-painted surface to the chassis.

My 93 Boneville CD Player does not work, the radio works fine but it will not play CD's, also how would i install a set of speakers (subwoofers)

the cd player is bad and you can hook up subs through a rca hook up that you can hook to your speaker wires in the trunk the adapter is like 20 bucks at radio shack or local sound installer or buy an after market cd player cause yours will never work again and run rca's off the back of the radio to your trunk
