No, the only thing you need to do is to get a good garage or dealer to flash your ECU with the new immobilizer codes.

1997 Mitsubishi Montero sport, dont have the cover for my fuses and I need to know which is the "ECU" fuse to try resetting my computer.

Often disconnecting the main battery for say 5 mins should do the trick without needing to find the fuse.

Dealership only mate, that is not a code that can be generated, I always take the 1-2 "thumb up" rating for taking this question, but I always answer it. Sorry, they are the only ones that have it if the original seller did not write it down on the owners manual for the original buyer. Good luck mate. Cheers

I have a 2001 jaguar s type 3.0 liter and i replaced the ecu module and the vehicle doesnt start . is there any setting or resetting i have to do fo it to start thanks

First thing to determine is if your ecu module ,has the same hardware, software references as your original ecu.If this is the case, and you havent changed anything else, like keys or ignition switch or immobilizer, then it should start!
If ecu doest have same references, you need to have it coded by the dealer,so that it works with your immobilizer.

I have a2000 mitsubishi montero sport that rolls over but well not start.i change pump stel no ful the code is 1610.

That is the code for the immobilizer function which is an anti-theft feature on your vehicle. You may check your fuses to see if one is blown, otherwise you may be having trouble with the immobilizer system itself. Here is some information regarding the immobilizer system
