Hi, the fuses for both the instrument lights and the interior lights are located in the passenger side fuse box. You can find this under a cover on the side of the dash when you open the door. The fuses you want are (A) and (G)... good luck

Look inside on the drivers side for the fuse/relay panel under the dash. To get to the panel, remove the lower steering column cover and kneepad. You will see the panel and everything is marked so you can check the correct fuse or relay. Use a test light to do all of your testing. Also under the hood on some models are more fuses and relays controlling other options on the van. Remove the cover and look inside cover for the correct location of the fuse and relay. Hope this will help you.

HUD will not light up

If you peek down inside the windshield, you'll probably see the HUD is working. A common issue is that the adjustment spring will break, making the HUD invisible because it is adjusted out of range. The spring can be replaced by removing the cluster then the HUD unit.

I have a 93 Grand am. The dash lights do not come on. The driving lights do not work either. I checked the fuses they are all good. Is there more than one fuse box?

It depends on what you mean by driving lights. It may be a bad ground or a fusible link inside the dash. There is usually a fuse box under the hood also, now they are labeled but your best way to know which fuse controls what is a repair manual. Also in that model car you may have a fuse box under the right side of the dash, you would have to take out the lower panels and look up inside the dashboardwith a flashlight,of course you may want to check the literature before you start taking apart your dash because it may not have one there.

Pretty good chance that your 50A fuse feeds the fuse block inside the car. To test, pull the fuse & check fuse block for power. If I'm right, then start by replacing main fuse and pulling individual fuses on block, till draw disappears. then check which system that fuse feeds. most common: glovebox light lid not closed all the way or interior light malfunction. However, control modules can give similar results.

Try checking your fuses, you may have a blown one. If the problem reoccurs, or it isn't the fuse, then you more than likely have a short somewhere, where you will need to spend up to several hours with a test light.
Good Luck!
