The evap sys code has to do with the handling of gas vapors in the evap canister.

The wheel speed sensor error will affect the abs brakes and traction control if so equipped.

P0440 is a bad fuel sending unit
C1224, C1235, and C1228 are ABS wheel sensor codes

You need a new hub assembly/bearing (the hub assembly holding the bearing and the WSS, you can’t just change the WSS or just the bearing)

? my 99 deville keeps giving code c1228 how to fix

That code should be left rear(Drivers side rear) wheel speed sensor short to ground, Check to see if wiring has worn thru and is contacting metal some place. GM had problems with water getting into wiring harnesses in rear causing shorts.

The C codes in the obd system are chassis codes. Your codes are for solenoid short, ABS short, brake light warning short, wheel sensor short, Right rear speed sensor short.
So with all those codes present, was the vehicle subject to water damage or snow and ice?

Emission failure on 2001 chevy blazer 4.3-

your vehicle has a vent valve solenoid located on the evap canister under the back end of the vehicle. You most likely have a bad vaccuum line going to the evap caniser. Have the vehicle smoke tested to verify. If no leaks are found replace the vent valve solenoid

Can you tell me what these two codes are P1000 and a C1165 on jaguar x type 3 litre abs, thanks

Po code 1000 is system readyness test, it means it has not met all condtions or flags since last reset of the computer. and the other C1165-Wheel speed sensor circuit right rear electrical failure and C1235-Wheel speed sensor circuit right rear signal failure
Possible Source(s):
  • Harness fault.
  • Connector loose or corroded.
  • Connector pin(s) bent or tracking between connections.
  • Sensor gap incorrect.
  • Foreign matter on sensor face.
  • Missing tooth on sensor wheel.
  • Faulty Sensor.
  • Most Likey cause the harness got knocked off the sensor. If you need more help let me know.
