Question about 2000 Mitsubishi Galant
First check the fan belts are tight then check the cooling fans are working,,this can be done by pulling off the temp censor plug and shorting it out with wire it should switch on the cooling fans,,then check that the thermostat is working ok or just change it for a new one,,also check for any water leaks and that the red is free of dead leaves or road dirt also check the rad fill up cap if its leaking water will be pushed out from there,,finaly
have a sniffer test done??? to test if there are any hydrocarbons in the rad cooling water,,if there are any,,,its likely to be a head gasket leaking,,letting hot geses into the water jaket
