There is a lable (sticker) in engine compartment with info for this car, might be on the hood or radiator support or fender well areas.
See what lable you can find under the hood and read them all , one of them has specs for the engine size.
2.2l - 4cyl.
2.7l - 6cyl.
The other way , see how many wires coming out of ignition distributor , if it's 4 - you have 4cyl. , if it's 7 - you have 6cyl.

To torque piston bottom bolts on honda accord 97

The question is vague, but if you're referring to what torque to use on the connecting rod cap bolts, depending on the engine I found either 23 ft-lbs or 30 ft-lbs. I've had a few Hondas but not a '97, so I looked this up just now. A site like torkspec.com is useful or your local Honda service dept. should definitely have the numbers for you.

Where is the engine thermostat on a 97 honda accord 4 cylinder with automatic transmission

Locate the thermostat by following the bottom hose of the radiator (the standard is to follow the top, however it is not there) it should lead toward the back of the engine compartment. The hose will connect to a joint connected to the block, this where you will remove the hose (catch the fluid in something a pan on the ground is easiest) feeling inside the port of the block you should find the thermostat. Remove the two bolts holding the joint to the block, the bottom of the two is the most difficult, I move a few things out of the way, pull out the old stat, line up the new one (it's an off-center type) put it in don't forget the new gasket, refill the system with fluid and check and test.

Lookin for a picture of removeing and replacing timing belt on a 1991 honda accord 2.2 liter engine 4 cylinder

Someone might give you a pic, but you should really buy a manual for this. there is a lot of important info on doing a timing belt. If not done right you can trash an engine. I get a manual everytime if I don't already have one. $25.00 is a good investment.

97 honda accord 4 cylinder none vtech putting my

This is exactly the way it is supposed to be. The spark virtually never occurs at TDC. The spark is always advanced somewhat, sometimes as much as 45 degrees if the engine is reving high and at minimal load. The distributor is made so that the rotor points to the cap terminal within it's operating range...usually between 15 and 30 degrees before the #1 piston reaches the top of it's travel.
Hope this helps. Do you have a problem?

94 honda accord cuts off while driving

94-97 accord have common issue on key ignition. Key ignition seems to corroded. Solution take it apart clean or best way is to replace it. I know because I have done it to 94 accord 4 cylinders, 95 accord 6 cylinders and 97 accord 4 cylinders.

Upgrading stock 97 accord

If your "stock" 97 Accord is a base model then it has 14" tires & wheels. If your idea of fun is zoom-zoom around turns & quick lane changes on the highway then switching to a 16" low profile tire & wheel combo will make you smile a little more. 205/55R16 is a good popular conversion. Your budget will be dented about $800-$1200 If your idea of fun is stomp the gas & go then talk to an engine guru
