The inertia switch on that model is usually down @the passenger kick panel,no need to remove the panel to access. At the top of the panel where there is a slight down slope in the panel you just reach over the top and reset the switch!

Get spark, but no power to new fuel pump 1999 ford Ranger

the inertia switch is in front of the passenger seat, bolted to the fire wall, hidden by the carpet on an 89 and behind the kick panel on the 99. 99 should have a picture that looks like a gas station pump with a line thru it. pull panel off, push big red button. on 89 its the little grey button on the top.

Not getting fuel to throttle body

Drop the gas tank out and the pump is inside, it is part of the module that you remove once the retainer ring is knocked loose.
