Code P0304 #4 cylinder misfire

Electrical contact cleaner is not good for map or maf sensors. There is a special cleaner for this however I have never actually had any luck with the cleaners. It very well could be the sensor going bad. Not being familiar with your car I can say I had the exact same issue with a 97 mercury cougar and it was the sensor. I would double check the plug making sure the gap is correct and it is not cracked, check the wire (swap to another cylinder if you can and see if the error code swaps as well), check the coil pack as well.

run fault codes and check for O2 sensor problem and MAP/MAF sensor problems. If it is misfiring then codes for injectors and plugs may also appear

No check engine light, occasional temp guage malfunction, and it wont start after i have already replaced the fuel filter spark plugs ignition pack and crank shaft sensor. why wont my 2001 saab 9-3 viggen...

still could have a fault in crank sensor wiring ,,, you need to plug in diagnostic tool when it wont start and see if you have a engine revs reading ,,, also check if fuel is getting to the engine ,,,, that car also has immobiliser so try spare key to see if problem goes away ,,,,,, wont get codes on that age group unless problem happens when driveing

Check engine light came on today on my 2002 Saab 9-5 2.3 Turbo. I have no clue why? Also, when I started it up this morning it said on the display [REAR LIGHT FAILURE]. Any solutions?

The simple one, you have a rear light blown. As for the check the engine light "you would need to get the code checked, that any Saab dealer can get by plugging a device into your car, and from there the problem will be narrowed down" sorry I cant be more specific but that light can come on for a multitude of reasons. :-(

Have you had your mass air meter checked or replaced? This is the unit attached to the air intake hose behind your air filter. It senses the air temperature, speed, density, etc... and adjusts the fuel/air ratio to keep the vehicle running at "peak" performance. Also, check your TPS (throttle positioning sensor) it can also cause the problem you speak of. The TPS adjusts your engine speed/idle etc. and also compensates for hot/cold changes etc. This is roughly a $35.00 part and in most cases usually an easy fix.

I have a 2002 chevrolet tahoe that will not pick up speed no higher than 40 miles per hr. codes P106 are reading when using a snap on 2500 scanner tool.

That code is for the MAP sensor, but I suspect that you may have a bad catalytic converter. The code can set if manifold vacuum doesn't change in correspondence with the throttle angle and engine speed. I would try removing the O2 sensor and see if your power improves. It will be noisy but if the truck is faster, then you have a plugged cat and it should be replaced. If the truck does not perform any better with the O2 sensor out, you should try a new MAP sensor.

Service engine soon light

if certain that car has no sensor then carry on with self preservation (plus, leads, filter and such) as the warning light does come on sometimes to tell you to service/ take to a garage to service.

The "check engine" light will "light" when there is a malfunction in the engine management system. The fault code is then stored in the computer. The computer must be scanned to retrieve these stored faults to pinpoint the malfunctioning component. We recommend buying your own scanner and doing it yourself. With a pocket scanner you can check for fault codes to find out why the light came on in the first place. You can clear your cars trouble codes after you replace the malfunctioning sensors.
