2005 mercury montego will crank but will not start sounds like its out of fuel

Try squirting a small amount of starting fluid into the air cleaner and try cranking the vehicle. Should it fire I would be looking towards a fuel pump issue and replace the fuel pump. Let me know how this works for you and I would be glad to help you further if needed.

How often i should change transmisson oil?

Transmission filter and fluid should be changed around every 75,000 miles. its easy to do. gasket and filter come as a kit from your local auto parts store. When filling the tranny fluid, always check your marks. Some sticks have a hot line only, and some have a cold and hot line.

How do you get the part that push the pads against rotor to go in so i can put the new pads on a mercury montego 2005

use a C clamp to push it in doing it in a slow turning mode. that way you will not spew brake fluid from the master cylinder while compressing the caliper piston. a 6 inch c clamp will be the size to use

Where is the dip stick for the trans fluid located? Automatic trans is shifting hard. 2005 Chevy Cavalier.

this model has a sealed transmission, there is no dipstick, the dealer has a special tool for checking the level at a plug just over the driver side axle.

Transmission fluid level?

There is a 11mm plug on the passenger side of the trans near the axle shaft. Remove that with the car level, trans hot, and engine idling. Fluid should just come out of there when its full.
