SOURCE: Radio code for VW golf velocity

sometimes it can be found on the radio casing but the best bet is to take your car to your local dealership and they can use the VIN nimber of the vehicle to track down the radio code

SOURCE: how can I remove my

You do not need to take the dash apart, there are two little slots oneon each side of the face of the radio, you need special removal tools to unlock it and it will pull right out, but first check in your owners manual, or in the spare tire well for the card, or sticker which has the serial number as well as the unlock code for your radio.

SOURCE: 2008 VW radio code

SOMETIMES THE DEALER WILL BE ABLE TO ASSIST YOU WITH THIS. A PHONE CALL SHOULD RESOLVE THIS IF YOU TELL THEM YOU HAVE THE VIN NUMBER. WORST CASE SCENARIO, YOU WILL NEED TO BRING THE CAR TO THE DEALER. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOUIN YOUR QUEST FOR TUNES. THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA AND FOR AN HONEST RATING. BEST OF LUCK.

SOURCE: Radio code

There might be a sticker in the glove box or on the back of the fuse box lid. If there is not sticker there with your radio code, Log on to radio-code.com. There is a $12.00 fee, but at least you can get your radio working again and for much less then the dealer. The other thing to that may work is carfax.com may have that information by using your VIN number. Good luck and hope you get your radio working again soon.

How to find the radio code for 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor radio has no sound after replacing dead battery

Depending on the make you can go online, search the make/model/serial number on specialist website that will sell you the code for a couple of bucks. As you didn't provide this in your question I couldn't test run it for you. Serial number may be in the drivers book or remove radio and it will be on the back. Has nobody written it in the owners books anywhere? Next time hook up a small motorcycle battery to your main batt leads before you remove the main batt and this will keep the codes in place while you swap the main batt.

If it is a factory fit radio then Nissan customer/ service section will be able to give you the code. Check that it is not written in the radio section of the owners hand book.

Radio code of an Honda Odyssey 2005 where find it

This code should be in the glove box on a small card, look in the owners book, i have found the codes in many places when looking, i have found then written by customer in book in radio section, also look in all books as the dealer will write code in maintence book, they write the color make ,model serial # and radio code.

The code comes on a card that says radio code , anti theft radio, it is the size of a credit card.i do not know why people remove it and loose it and then when someone buys it they have no idea until they need battery replaced or it goes dead.

look around good , if you can not find it then radio serial # is needed, which radio needs to be removed to get and then with ID and proof of ownership you can go to dealer and they will give you the code.

Need radio code for a 2003 Honda serial numbers areU1110 L9512

The battery was disconnected from my vehicle and now my radio display is flashing "CODE" and the radio doesn't work. Where can I find my radio code? If an audio unit with theft protection is disconnected from electrical power, you must enter a unique code into the unit or it will not work. This code and the audio unit's serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. If this card is lost, you must obtain the audio unit serial number in order to get the radio code. Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can go to the Radio & Navigation System Micro-site to retrieve your radio code. Some newer vehicles allow you to retrieve the audio unit serial number electronically from the radio. Refer to your owner's manual for the specific procedure. Most older vehicles (model year 2003 and older) require a visit to the dealer in order to retrieve the audio unit serial number. If dealer assistance is required to retrieve your serial number, the dealer will be able to provide the radio code as well. They do charge a fortune for this service BUT>>>>.... this website is so much cheaper to obtain along with detailed instructions http://www.radio-code.com/?gclid=CMr1lJPqn6kCFU5qKgodUDlDxA

You will have to get the code from a local Honda automotive dealership in your area . You will need the display code or serial number and proof of ownership for the vehicle before they will give you the proper unlock code for your radio .

My Battery went dead and when I bought a new one the radio is asking for a code. how can I recieve code to reactivate my radio? Serial # OX268191C Model # MR337276

The code for the radio reset comes along with the car manual and could be noted in your instruction manual. So look into the service book to find this out. You can also call up your service dealer who will have it logged on to the car history.
So check this out.

My battery went dead and since then my radio requests a code wich i don't have

This code should be in the glove box on a card the size of a credit card if you dont have then you will need to call the dealer maybe they have it on record if they dont then you need to remove the radio and get the serial # off the radio then go to dealer with proof of ownership and they will get the code for you, or you can pay them to remove radio and get #.

Battery went dead..stereo needs recoded

Well, no-one particularly likes to hear this because it can be involved, but this is the way it is:
If an audio unit with theft protection is disconnected from electrical power, you must enter a unique code number into the unit or it will not work. This code and the audio unit’s serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. If this card is lost, you must obtain the audio unit serial number in order to get the radio code (some people say that they have found the code on a sticker inside the glove compartment, but I wouldn’t count on that). Some newer vehicles allow you to retrieve the audio unit serial number electronically from the radio. Refer to your owner’s manual for the specific procedure (the following usually will work: Turn the radio off. Push the preset 1, preset 6, and power buttons at the same time, then quickly release. The serial number will come up in two sets of numbers.)
Some older vehicles (model year 2003 and older) require a visit to the dealer in order to retrieve the audio unit serial number (or you can remove the unit and get the serial number from the back of the radio). Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can call Auto Customer Service at (800) 999-1009 or have the dealer look up the radio code.

Here is the URL for the Honda Owner page. If you register (no charge) you are able to get radio codes using the VIN number of your car, the serial number of your radio, and the
Phone Number and Zip Code that you give them when you register.

Hope this helps you with the process.
