The you must test the wiring and the connectors. Make sure the grounding bolts aren't corroded and finally check the coils with an ohmmeter.

scan it while cranking, id bet dollars to donuts, it shows why it dont start, (engine good)

lost CMP signals. DTCs
lost CKP signals, DTCs. (errors.

or its all just cash wasted guessing.

Drivers side has spark and fuel when using starter. But no fuel / spark when running on the passenger side cylinders? None of the drivers side cylinders fire!

are yous saying engine runs on 3 cylinders, (sure dead slow)?
great facts, so few post have actual facts or tests
but what engine, it's engine issues, which one?
must be v6, (left right bank)
but is it single or twin cam 24valves?
check all fuses first. (always)

lets see... one side has no spark, so did you scan he PCM while cranking for P03xx codes DTC errors. it will show them if you crank for 5 full seconds, and release the key , 90% of time.
and is a KEY fact in diagnosis, no need to fix cars like 1995 and older here. we use scan tools and win,.

left side has spark and fuel but is dead, so its flooding on that side.
right bank has no spark and no fuel.
you meant both sides dont fire. and engine does not run at all.
so what is wrong.
well I check spark first. is the timing good? if not the cam belt slipped. as all do , ignored.
5 min check and bam , OMG timings way off....
or check compression first. i do on all old cars.
for 2 reasons.
1:if compression is way off, the cam belt slipped.
2: if uneven , (done right) you go , gee, is this old car worth a rebuild? 13 years old, IMO , it is. but isuzu parts. hard to get?

do compression on #1 clylinder (or 3) first. if way off. bingo.
5 min work done WOT, wide open throttle.

knowing engine, tells the mech, what spark system is there and which of 2 fuel systems used.
does engine have 1 coil pack with 6 lugs, or 6 cop coil packs.

if compression is ok.
and one bank is dry.
that means the injectors are dead on one side.
and that means the PCM is seeing bad CMP sensor data.
some CMP can do that. but no engine stated.
SOme CMP sends camp pulses for all cylinders can can fail on one bank.
but if the cam belt slipped, some PCM go nuts with crazy CMP pulses.
let me explain if you were a PCM and the cam and crank signals.
are in contradiction, do you inject or not? (pretend that)
some do, some dont other guess wrong, or go goofy.

the spark and injections are all timed.
that is why I always check spark timing First.
a 5min job.
the new cars have no spark timing adjustments
and many think that is excuse to throw the tool away
nothing is so far from the truth...

which engine?
so there can only be 3 reasons, and 3 tests to find this.
1: lost compression on #4, 150psi or more is normal, w.o.t.
2: lost spark, use a test spark plug , pass or fail. is the one in the engine new? or 15 years old.????
3: lost fueling, or too much is called flooding...

if #4 spark plug tip is dry (and 1,2 above pass) then the injector is dead. (3 reason why and more FSM tests)
if the spark pug is wet ,it leaks or the drive signal to it is stuck
use a NOID light to test the signal.
if it leaks its bad. if signal is good.

its that simple.
ask more.

pretend its 6 engines, there. and find it easy

in usa we can scan this with any scan tool and see errors
got DTC P0304? (misfire#4)

When engine cold starts ok, but once hot and you switch off and try starting it again, it will not start, runs well and ticks over well

what engine?, they have options, there. cant fix unknown engines....
G16? J20, J25 engine? all are very diffr. motors.

hot soak failure.
probably not lost engine compression, HLA lifters. no gap
so is lost spark
you check for spark at all cylinders. if all are gone we scan the ECU.
if spark is good then its flooding, spark tips on all cyl, soaking wet
or just 1.????
all the above is $2 in special tools, just a fresh new spark plug
found in tool box..

if spark is dead.
we scan it. (all comments are for USA cars, never others)
we conn. the OBD2 tool ($9) and scan it
1: key on,
2: crank for 5 seconds and see scan tool show RPM from 250 to 300rpm. good. CKP is working bit.
3: we then release key , not off yet
4: i look at live and pending DTC,s oops, P0340/355 or ?
and you look up those DTCs and it says, bad CMP /CKP?

IF spark is good, then its just flooding
if yes, then ask how to do fuel tests.
fueling is last. all else must be right first.
(fuel pressure, then injector balance tests)

I have a toyota corolla 2003 and it did not pass the emission test due to a sensor with code P0175

so get it fixed? no engine size posted. so ???? impossible to be accurate.
or DIY, you have tools? and skills. to do that.
it means the Oxygen sensor has issues.
means bank 2 is stuck rich
bank 2 means car is V6. bank 2 means bank with #2 cylinder loc.

is this the only DTC code.??? no others, and did you use a scan tool
that can read all Toy codes, like P1xxx ? codes factory codes.
if not you missed the boat.
my wild guess. (i do tests in real world)
bank 2 is rich.
due to what?
1: misfiring, ever do a tune up? see fouled spark plugs bank 2, look.
2: injector leaking.

there are lost of tests, im not going to list them all.
but it takes tools and time.
compression at spec. bank 2?
or bad COP on bank 2,

00 Accord is stalling at highway speeds. have replaced ignition module, same problem.

why guess, why not use a scan tool and see what input to the ECU
goes bad? if none do then the fuel presssure is dropping.

it stall for 2 reasons,
1: lost spark
2: lost fuel.

the ECU is programmed to cut fuel when spark is lost.
the ECU will throw DTC errors for 3 forms of lost spark.
spark,cmp, and ckp.
dont rely on the CEL lamp , they can lie, use a scan tool
and look for DTCs stored, live and pending DTCs on the fly.

even a loose fuse?

Truck turns over but will not start.

run the fault codes and check for cam/crank position sensor ( broken timing belt) check operation of immobiliser. Check for ING fuse blown
